The SP-1200
In the Analog Out of Issue 41, we took a look at the legacy of digital sampling machines, specifically the SP-1200/SP-12 from E-mu Systems. From amateurs to pros, beatmakers still hold this box as the gold standard for sampling, even twenty-three years after its first release and its notoriously low fidelity and short memory.
