I’ve never really understood people who use music as a sort of background noise filler. When I get a new album, I approach it like a novel. I need to listen closely to every detail and figure it out as best I can. This is really the only album I can think of where my brain just sort of shuts off, and I get lulled into a pleasant meditative state. It really is special.
