Shankar Jaikishan and Rais Khan Raga – Jazz Style (EMI, India) 1968

The fruits of one of my longtime eBay missions. I was more ecstatic to open this record mailer than any I can remember. This often borders on a similar sound to some of those late-’50s Sun Ra records, though I would be surprised if Shankar Jaikishan ever heard any of them.
