The mysterious, desert-dwelling Clutchy Hopkins returns with a new album, High Desert Low Tide, out March 3 and created with Los Angeles multi-instrumentalist/producer Fat Albert Einstein. We’ve heard the entire album, and it’s fire—pure instrumental bliss. If you’re familiar with Fat Albert Einstein’s previous work, you may recognize his whimsical melodic ideas in the new single, “Zero G’s,” which when blended with Clutchy‘s dark and menacing sensibilities create a new aural atmosphere that combines the desert and the coast.
